Jimmy Kimmel discussed Tesla's declining popularity on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
"A lot of people who own Tesla cars have been trying to disguise their vehicles to avoid confrontations and vandalism," Kimmel remarked during his monologue on Thursday, March 13.
"Somebody pulled the Tesla logo off their Model X and replaced it with the Mazda logo," he added.

Although Teslas have a distinct design, owners who are no longer fans of Elon Musk have been attempting to hide the brand's logo.
"People are even trying to disguise their Cybertrucks," Jimmy Kimmel said. "That's like trying to pass off Chewbacca for a Chihuahua. It doesn't seem right."
"Driving a Tesla used to mean you were a big-city, green juice-drinking, yoga liberal," he added. "Now nobody knows what it means."

Donald Trump recently turned the White House front lawn into a Tesla showroom for Elon Musk. Jimmy Kimmel thinks the South African businessman subsequently convinced Republicans to embrace environmentally conscious vehicles.
"Maybe this is all a ruse. Elon somehow tricked MAGA into driving electric cars," Kimmel joked. "Maybe he really is a genius."
"But in the meantime, sales of Teslas are way down all around the world," he added.

Donald Trump has been vocal about his plans for the economy, but his trade war and the stock market's decline could indicate his vision could fail.
"Trump and his Secretary of Treasury say the White House is focused on the real economy, and they are not concerned about a little market volatility," Jimmy Kimmel said.
"Which is confusing, because previously, the stock market was the only thing Trump bragged about more than playing golf," he added.

During the 2024 presidential campaign, Donald Trump often claimed the economy performed well under his first administration.
"These are all tweets about how great the stock market was under him," Jimmy Kimmel said.
"You know how on the campaign trail, every day Trump promised he would bring prices down on day one?" Kimmel asked. "I guess we're starting to finally notice that he hasn't."

While on the White House front lawn, Donald Trump claimed Elon Musk was being punished by consumers due to his proximity to the president.
"I think he's been treated very unfairly by a very small group of people. And I just want people to know that he can't be penalized for being a patriot. And he's a great patriot, and he's also done an incredible job with Tesla," the Republican said.
